A lamp becomes a mirror when turned off. When switched on, the light source becomes visible through the mirrored surface and highlights the diffuser shape through complex reflections. This effect is achieved by vacuum metalizing a thin layer onto a transparent shell of polycarbonate. The structure holding the diffuser, becomes a container for personal items.
